SHOCKING: The 10 Richest Rebels, Militant Leaders According to NDF List

The National Democratic Front (NDF), released a list of their leaders and members net worth for the first time, in an attempt to convince the government and the people that the group is transparent in handling their finances.

he move came following a rift between NDF chief negotiator Fidel Agcaoili, and defense secretary Delfin Lorenzana, with the latter accusing the former of extortion.

The list, which came from the office of NDF founder Jose Maria Sison, was distributed to local media on The Netherlands on Monday.

As expected, Sison topped the list of richest communist leaders in the Philippines.

The following is the complete list, with some unexpected details.

1. Jose Maria “Joma” Sison, who has been living outside the Philippines since late 80’s, has a total net worth of P56,768,043. This includes Sison’s real estate in the Philippines.

2. Former Catholic priest and negotiator Luis Jalandoni came in second with 45,546,098. Jalandoni’s roots in Silay City, Neg. Occ, are one of the richest clan in the province.

3. Unexpedtedly, third on Sison’s list is Akbayan leader and current Senator Risa Hontiveros. Her listed net worth of 16,332,952 matches with her declared SALN earlier this year. It’s however mind boggling how Hontiveros name was include din the list.

4. Fidel Agcaoili, the controversial NDF chief negotiator is a millionaire himself with P15,768,980. Agcaoili questioned Lorenzana on how the government uses AFP budget.

5. Another familiar name unexpectedly included in the list is BAYAN’s Secretary General Renato Reyes Jr. The seasoned street activist has a net worth of P12,980,768.

6. National Anti-Poverty Commission Secretary Liza Maza, with a net worth of P730,716 came in fifth. Gabriela’s Maza has P3.78 million assets and P3,049,284 liabilities.

7. Bayan Muna leader Teodoro “Teddy” CasiƱo is 7th with P1,345,657. His net worth is up from 90,000 in 2012.

8. Luzviminda Ilagan of Gabriela has a total net worth of P1,098,567

9. Satur Ocampo, the patriach of all activists, and Bayan Muna president, has a net worth of P756,908

10. Former Agrarian Reform Secretary and Anakpawis leader Rafael Mariano is poorest with P50,000

The document did not explain why activists like Hontiveros, Reyes, Maza, and others are included in the list.

Sison and Jalandoni did not declare any business, but their net worth is bigger than most members of Congress and senators.
