LOOK: Sept. 21 Protesters galing Tarlac Hindi pa Nababayaran ng Recruiter, Organizer Says

A woman from Anao town in Tarlac who claimed to be one many protest organizers during the September 21 Martial Law anniversary rally, told local radio on Monday that until now, her groups is still waiting for the payment.

A certain Sally said her group of 200 people from her small town of Anao, left to Manila at around 9:00AM on Monday through 10 jeepneys which they hired.

Sally, a member of leftist group Gabriela, said that she was promised to receive 300,000, by a local politician who is also a member of Liberal Party.

The organizer also told the radio that each protester were promised to received P1,000, and the rest of the money will go to her. Sally expected to make at least 30,000 but until now, she said, she receive nothing.

The radio advised her to name the politician only offline to avoid any broadcast problem.

She also said that like her group, there are other groups from her town who also joined the September 21 protest and waiting for the payment.

/Nikki maliksi/
